About Us

Gary Stone

Gary Stone, Landscape Architect, has over thirty years of experience, has been in private practice since 1988 doing custom residential, commercial projects, and golf courses. prior to that, he was a founding partner of Stone – Fisher and associates, established in 1973.

Located in Solana Beach’s Cedros Design District, Gary has focused his work in the San Diego County, La Jolla, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe communities.

Much of his work has been new construction, spec’s homes and large remodels. Gary Stone has been designing prestigious homes for years. Whether traditional or contemporary in design, he develops sensitivity to the architecture and site of each home. Combined with his landscape architectural knowledge, the resulting finished project is a wonderful collaboration.

Graduated from Cal Poly, Gary Stone is a Licensed Landscape Architect and he has won numerous awards for his work during his 30 years career.

Hector U. Marquez G.

Hector has over thirteen years of professional experience, twelve as a registered architect in Mexico and ten working in landscape architecture on a variety of projects. He has been a valuable part of Gary Stone's team as an MSA consultant for the last 8 years.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the Iberoamericana University in Mexico (one of the most prestigious Universities of Mexico) and a Masters in International Business Administration also from Iberoamericana University.

Hector Marquez is licensed to practice architecture in Mexico, a member of the Mexican society of architect (Baja Chapter) and currently taking the examination for his LEED certification.

Cameron Stone

Cameron earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the Newschool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, and has worked for 3 years drafting in AutoCAD for both Gary Stone and several local architects. He believes strongly in using Southern California native plants to create natural and distinctively Californian landscapes as well as to conserve precious water and creating habitat for wildlife. Cameron is also currently taking the examination for his LEED Certification.
